Introduction

  • BEHAVIORISM is a theory of animal and human learning, that only focus on objectively observable behaviors and discounts mental activities.
  • Behaviorism is the educational theory that is based on the underlying ideology that has a direct influence on behavior .It presumes that by manipulating the environment of learning can be enhanced 
  • Through behavior is measured, seen to be appropriate or in an appropriate and accordingly changed or reinforced.

FEATURES OF BEHAVIORISM:-  

 

  • Learning is defined as change in behavior.
  • When we learn how to change behavior, we improve the teaching and learning process (PEDAGOGY).
  • Outcomes based (objectives and measurement approach).
  • Teachers need to make use of negative and positive reinforcement in the classroom.
  • Makes argument for personal development process.
